Tashkent is the capital of

Now the population of the city exceeds 2 million people, representing over hundred nations and nationalities. Tashkent is situated in a valley of Chirchik river. Summer is rather hot here: the temperature reaches up to +45 +50 in July, the ground is soft, but there are frosts, and snow is kept for a long time here. Ankhor channel cuts Tashkent into two parts. One of its coasts adjoins to the heart of the city - "Mustakillik" square, and the opposite - has given life to a charitable health-improving sports "Walrus" association. Nowadays club "Walrus", which is created 50 years ago, became a unique, accessible place of rest, training and going in for sports - an elixir of vivacity and health. |
